The effective practice loop
1. Read for the task
Underline what the stem is asking before scanning options. Many misses start as misread tasks, not knowledge gaps.
2. Predict, then compare
Form a brief answer prediction, then eliminate options that fail constraints in the stem.
3. Review both directions
Read why the best option wins and why each distractor fails—even when you were correct.
4. Tag the miss
Label misread stem, knowledge gap, judgment issue, or calculation/setup error so the next session has a target.
5. Schedule a repair set
Within 48–72 hours, do a short set on the same weak topic, then mix it into a later timed block.
